The dealer recently replaced both front axles and front differential with brand new OEM parts. We can tell by looking at the service history the owner was very meticulous and cared after their truck immensely. The full timing belt service was completed at 200k miles.

Unfortunately the LX470 and Toyota Land Cruiser of this generation suffered from heavy body and underbody rusting. The actual frame usually holds up well, but the rest of the truck falls apart around it. This LX470 is from Colorado and surprisingly has an exceptionally clean underbody and a fantastic mechanical bill of health. We also coated some areas of the underbody with Fluid Film Black to preserve the truck and prepare for the Midwest winter.

You can essentially ignore the mileage on these floating behemoths as long as they were regularly maintained. The 2UZ powered giant can easily run for 500,000 miles or more, some examples running to 1,000,000 miles. These truly were the pinnacle and peak of Toyota overbuilding and reliability. The 4.7L 2UZ-FE was widely considered as the most reliable and durable engines Toyota ever produced.
