This is one brand new set of OEM Lexus front air shocks. This shock set only fits 2004-2006 Lexus LS430. These will not work in 2001-2003; those shocks are shorter in length and discontinued. Shocks must be replaced in sets of two and that’s the only way we sell them. If you are trying to cheap out and just buy one we would recommend just finding and installing a used shock. These shocks are only for the Ultra Luxury or UL package. All of the other trims have standard gas shocks and coil springs.
Current part numbers for this set are: 48010-50130 (x2)
Symptoms of bad air shocks are loss of height control, sagging vehicle, bouncing vehicle, uneven or rocking feeling while driving at highway speeds, clunking while driving or going over bumps, visible leaking oil down the bottom of the shock tube, visible leaking oil under the top of the shock actuator motor.
Typically by 100,000 miles your original air shocks will be broken and ready for replacement. You should expect original shocks to last anywhere between 50,000 miles and 250,000 miles depending on use, climate, and road conditions.
