Important service completed prior to my purchase include the valley plate re-seal at 67k miles on 8/31/2016, new dashboard and door panels at 90k, new headlights at 97k, 12qts of ATF-WS in 2018 at 107k.
After I purchased the car in late 2019 I performed the following upgrades, repairs, and services as follows. 2/2020 125k new OEM steering wheel and NGK DFH6B-11A spark plugs and NTK OEM O2 sensors. In 4/2020 I completed a full timing chain, tensioner, and front cover reseal. In 2021, I installed brand new 2014 OEM IS-F coil springs and shocks. This improves the ride and performance even more. I also installed a 2014 power steering ECU which also tweaks the steering response and control and effectively updates this 2012 to a 2014.
The car has been ceramic coated with GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Ultra + EXO, a 9-year rated 10H coating. The new headlights have paint protection film (PPF) to eliminate any fading, chipping, or damage.
Performance modifications include RR Racing Tuned PPE unequal length headers coated in Swain Tech White Lightning. This reduces radiant heat by 35-55% and eliminates any heat damage issues to the starter motor. Swaintech is arguably the best option for ceramic coating hot parts with their white lightning exhaust coating.
The car also has RR Racing Ultimate Steering Response System (USRS) and their Ultimate Engine Mounts. The car was previously supercharged from 126,000 miles to the present mileage. The car has a QTP Low Profile exhaust cutout that is electronically operated with a remote. This will allow you to cruise with the exhaust routed through the factory mufflers or bypass the muffers.
