Close your eyes and remember a world 25 ago. It feels like the year 2000 again. Imagine being teleported to Japan and walking into the local Toyota dealership. Someone bought this car new in 1998 drove it for two years and then traded it in. This Toyota Aristo only has 53,000 kms or 33,000 miles on it! What a gem. Clean clean clean! It’s only had a handful of oil changes and it is a completely fresh, blank slate to leave totally stock or modify to your wildest dreams.
The car comes with paint code 199 Alpine Silver Metallic and interior trim code of FA14 light gray cloth.
The Toyota Aristo or Lexus GS300 was a touring sedan nestled in between the smaller Lexus IS or Toyota Altezza and the larger LS400 or Toyota Celsior. This V300 Aristo was also equipped with the 2JZ-GTE Twin Turbo motor!
The JDM motor differed slightly from the US Spec Toyota Supra 2JZ-GTE twin turbo motor. The Aristo has sequential twin ceramic turbos with VVT-i mated to the 4-speed auto transmission.
This car features a slick top, no sunroof, and like-new gray cloth interior with heated seats. The navigation unit does not work, but that is not much of an issue since Japanese navigation units and radios don’t work here anyways. You can install an OEM US spec navigation unit, aftermarket navigation, the standard separate climate control and stereo like most US GS300’s had, or the OEM JDM heater control along with an aftermarket navigation.
The US spec GS300 gauge cluster can probably also be installed if you prefer the MPH readings.
This Toyota Aristo Twin Turbo is for sale at $17,000 and will be available for purchase soon in in the San Diego, CA area. Contact us at taninjdm@gmail.com to purchase
