We imported and titled the Cappuccino in Wisconsin and it is stored in San Diego, CA. Wisconsin titled kei-cars cannot be operated legally on Wisconsin roads per statute 341.10(6). They can be operated off-road and on private land. The rules and laws will differ by state and the Wisconsin title can be transferred to any other state.
Kei cars and trucks have been “banned” in Wisconsin since 2013. Wisconsin Quietly Banned Japanese Tiny Car Imports 13 Years Ago But Forgot To Enforce It Until Now.
We confirmed the body-structure, underside and engine bay meet our high standards prior to listing.
On the road the Cappuccino delivers an engaging drive: with the lightweight ~725 kg chassis, front-mid engine layout, RWD and removable roof panels, it stands out from typical convertibles. Whether you’re entering the U.S. 25-year import market or adding a rare kei-roadster to your collection, this model delivers pure fun and excellent value among JDM imports.

Why This One Stands Out
- Later EA21R Model Perks: Compared to earlier EA11R versions, this model benefits from a stronger, maintenance-free engine, added comfort features, and better handling thanks to lighter components and upgrades.
- Clean and Ready: Comes with a CarVX report for peace of mind, and is ready for immediate enjoyment right here in Southern California.
- Fair Pricing from Enthusiasts: At $8000, this is significantly under normal retail value for well-kept Cappuccinos (most range from roughly $6,000 to $15,000 depending on condition and spec)

Ownership History and Condition
The EA11R was offered from 1991-1994 and was equipped with the F6A engine (iron block, aluminum head) with a timing belt. This model is heavier than the later model. These early models lacked power steering.
The EA21R was equipped with the lighter aluminum block and head K6A engine with chain driven camshafts along with lighter wheels. The engine has a little more torque, maintenance free timing chain and had an optional 3-speed automatic transmission, ABS, and power steering. The manual transmission and air conditioning came standard.
