JDM vehicle search and purchase down payment deposit

This is your initial deposit towards purchasing your dream Japanese vehicle. This amount will be applied to your total vehicle purchase price.

If the process is cancelled after this point you are entitled to a 75% refund or $1500.

This deposit will begin the research and information gathering portion of your transaction. Keep in mind that the auctions move very fast. Typically cars will pop up to view 2-3 days before the auction begins. Your bid is set then the auction begins and typically lasts only a few minutes.

The following are included and provided with this deposit:

1. We work together and determine your vehicle specifications, year range, color, trim, transmission, and general price range.
2. We perform a daily search for your vehicle in auction.
3. We send you translated auction inspection reports. We point out specific inspection notes that may swing your decision to buy or wait for the next car. We advise you of potential problem areas such as previous damage, accidents, color changes (re-paints), corrosion or rust, paint problems, mechanical problems, interior issues, or other physically large or missing components that would be expensive to ship from overseas.
4. We send you all available pictures of cars in auction. Additional photos will be sent once your car leaves auction and arrives at the Japanese port. We can obtain any specific pictures you request after full payment.
5. We provide you with our analysis, opinions, and professional experience on potential problems with cars, expenses that could be incurred, or other issues that otherwise may not be disclosed to you.
6. We provide you with a potential range of how much the vehicle may end up selling for at auction and suggest a maximum amount to spend.

Once we mutually decide on a car to bid on then 50% of the purchase price will be due by cash, bank check, or wire transfer.  Upon successful winning of the auction the remainder of the balance is due immediately via the same payment methods. Keep in mind that you may only have a 1-3 day window to send us the funds prior to auction start.

Within a couple of weeks the vehicle is transported to the the nearest major port in Japan. Once it arrives there and awaits a ship we can send additional photos. Roll on Roll off shipping (the car is driven onto a dedicated vehicle transporter) is locked in and your vehicle will arrive in Los Angeles or San Diego within 30-90 days.

We can setup shipping to Tacoma, WA, Jacksonville, FL, New York, and Baltimore, MD at an additional cost. You would need to pickup the car in person at these ports with us. We could also drive the car to a location near these cities. We are unable to store or transport the car further from here.

Assuming your vehicle is being delivered to Los Angeles or San Diego you can pick up the car in person and drive it home or we can assist your shipping company in getting the car loaded up and sent to you. We can store the car for a brief period of time.

All cars are sold in as-is condition with no warranty. We can perform a complimentary inspection and full write up on potential problems or maintenance items when we receive the car. We can also provide you with OEM part numbers and sources to buy parts. This way you can prepare and order maintenance items before you receive the car. We can ship your title inside the car or via other shipping methods.
