Vehicle Purchases
Deposit & Authorization
A $1,999 deposit is required to begin sourcing your vehicle.
By submitting your deposit, you acknowledge and agree:
- TANIN JDM will begin time-intensive sourcing, research, and dealer coordination services immediately
- $500 of the deposit is non-refundable once payment is made, as it covers these services
The remaining $1,500 is refundable only before auction bidding begins
The full $1,999 is credited toward your final vehicle purchase price
Vehicle Approval & Commitment
Once you approve a vehicle and authorize us to proceed:
- The remaining $1,500 becomes non-refundable
- You agree to purchase the vehicle if successfully secured within your approved budget
- A 50% payment is required within 1–3 business days to participate in auction bidding
Failure to submit payment in time may result in:
- Loss of the vehicle opportunity
- Cancellation of your request
- Partial or full forfeiture of your deposit
Auction & Purchase Terms
- All auctions are final and legally binding
- Once a vehicle is successfully purchased:
- The remaining 50% balance must be paid via bank wire
- Delays in payment may result in:
- Storage fees
- Penalties from sellers/export partners
- Potential loss of the vehicle
Any additional costs incurred due to buyer delay or non-performance may be passed on to the buyer
Pricing
- Pricing is all-inclusive to the U.S. West Coast, unless otherwise stated
- If a vehicle exceeds your approved budget, we will continue sourcing alternatives at no additional sourcing fee
Cancellations
- Cancelling after vehicle approval or auction participation results in forfeiture of the full $1,999 deposit
- This is due to committed services, market exposure, and third-party obligations already incurred

Auto Parts – Returns
30-Day Return Policy
Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery
To qualify:
- Item must be unused
- In original condition
- In original packaging
- Include proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
- Sale or discounted items (final sale)
- Gift cards
- Downloadable products
Condition-Based Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued if:
- Item shows signs of use
- Packaging is damaged or incomplete
- Item is returned outside the 30-day window
Refund Processing
- Returns are inspected upon arrival
- You will receive confirmation of approval or denial
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–7 business days
Payment Disputes & Chargebacks
By completing a purchase, you agree to contact us first to resolve any issue before filing a dispute.
Invalid chargebacks (including claims ignoring this policy) may result in:
- Denial of future service
- Submission of this agreement and transaction records to your payment provider
Late or Missing Refunds
If your refund has not posted:
- Check your bank / card / PayPal account
- Contact your payment provider
- Contact your bank (processing delays are common)

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
Typically there should be no need for an exchange. All of our items are brand new and guaranteed to function. All of our used items are vigorously tested and guaranteed to be in like-new working condition. Exchanges are typically special case scenarios or circumstances where you may have ordered the wrong part and need the correct part number.
Exchanges are handled case-by-case only
Eligible scenarios:
- Incorrect item shipped
- Verified order error requiring replacement
Shipping returns
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
Original shipping fees are non-refundable
We strongly recommend:
Trackable shipping
Shipping insurance for high-value items
TANIN JDM is not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments
Policy Enforcement
- We reserve the right to deny returns or refunds that do not meet these conditions
- Policies may be updated at any time without prior notice
